Harry Bertoia: In the Great Oneness

Harry Bertoia (1915–1978) was an artist of exceptional breadth, moving fluidly between design, sculpture, drawing, and sound. Best known for his Bertoia Collection for Knoll, in particular the wire diamond chairs, he also created monotypes, open-form bronzes, and his resonant “Sonambient” sculptures — metal planes and rods transformed into instruments of space and sound.
